How the application works

Category Assessment

We determine which of the four talent categories you qualify under and identify the strongest evidence to support your application.

1–2 weeks

Document Preparation

We compile your full application file — portfolio, credentials, experience documentation, and any required endorsement letters from relevant UAE authorities.

3–6 weeks

Endorsement / Recommendation

We coordinate with the relevant endorsing authority — Emirates Scientists Council, Ministry of Culture & Youth, or UAE Sports Authority — to obtain the required recommendation.

2–6 weeks

ICA / GDRFA Application

We submit the Golden Visa application through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICA) or the GDRFA Dubai portal.

2–4 weeks processing

Golden Visa Issued

Your 10-year UAE Golden Visa is issued. We guide you through the Emirates ID issuance, health insurance requirements, and family sponsorship if applicable.

Common questions

Do I need to be living in the UAE to apply?+

You can apply from outside the UAE in many cases, though some steps — such as biometrics and Emirates ID issuance — require a physical visit. We advise on the most efficient timeline based on your current location.

Can I include my children and spouse?+

Yes. Your spouse and children can be sponsored under your Golden Visa. Unlike standard UAE residency, there is no age restriction for male sons — they can remain on your visa at any age. Domestic staff sponsorship is also possible.

What happens if I leave the UAE for a long time?+

Standard UAE residence visas are cancelled if you remain outside the UAE for 6 consecutive months. The Golden Visa does not have this restriction — you can reside outside the UAE for extended periods without losing your residency status.

Does the H-index requirement apply to all academics?+

The H-index of 10+ on Scopus applies to the Academics & Researchers track. Other tracks (Arts, Media, Sports) have entirely different criteria with no citation requirements. If your H-index is below 10, we assess whether you might qualify under alternative criteria or a different track.
