What is the Saudi Talent Residency?

The Saudi Talent Residency falls under the Saudi Premium Residency Program — Saudi Arabia's flagship long-term residency initiative launched as part of Vision 2030. It is designed to attract and retain exceptional individuals who can contribute to Saudi Arabia's cultural, scientific, economic, and sporting transformation.

Unlike traditional Saudi residency which ties individuals to a single employer sponsor, the Talent Residency — particularly the Gifted categories — is based on your profile and achievements. You are not sponsored by a company. You are recognised by the state.

From assessment to residency

Profile Evaluation & Eligibility Assessment

We assess your professional background, achievements, recognition, and category fit across both Gifted and Special Talent tracks. We identify your strongest pathway and advise on any profile gaps before proceeding.

1–2 weeks

Strategy & Profile Positioning

We structure your case — identifying the strongest evidence of recognition, achievement, and contribution to present to the relevant Saudi authority. For the Gifted track this includes building the narrative for the Ministry endorsement.

2–4 weeks

Document Preparation

We compile your full application file — professional portfolio, awards documentation, media coverage, employment records, education credentials, police clearance, and medical fitness certificate. All non-Arabic documents require certified Arabic translation and attestation.

3–5 weeks

Ministry Endorsement (Gifted Track)

For Arts, Culture, and Sports applicants, we coordinate the recommendation process through the Ministry of Culture or Ministry of Sport. This endorsement is a formal requirement and is obtained through the Premium Residency system.

4–8 weeks

Application Submission via Premium Residency Portal

The application is submitted through the official Saudi Premium Residency Center portal (saprc.gov.sa). The application processing fee of 683 SAR is paid at submission. The government reviews the application and notifies you of the outcome.

1–3 months processing

Approval, Payment & Residency Issuance

Upon approval, you receive a notification and have 30 days to pay the residency issuance fee of 4,000 SAR. The 5-year Premium Residency is then issued, covering you and your included family members.
